calender_2

We made this calendar last Chrismas at Oliver’s craft class which we then gave to his Dad for Christmas. Using finger paint, the teacher guided Oliver to put his handprints on the a4 size paper. We then sprinkled the glitters around the edge and the teacher printed out this cute little poem:

Sometimes you get discourages
Because I am so small
and always leave my fingerprints
on furniture and walls.

But everyday I’m growing –
I’ll  be grown some day
And all those tiny handprints
will surely fade away.

So here’s a little handprint
Just so you can rcall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small.

She also got this little calendar (you can get them from craft shop) and glued it on the top corner of the artwork. Voila! We hang this artwork on the wall and plan to never take it off!
